Let me help you discover and nurture your inner artist. Your instruction will be tailored to your personal skills and understanding of the art making process. Initially we will focus just on drawing skills. Drawing classes will focus on the fundamental foundations of exploring shape, scale, perspective and light. Gradually, as you progress, you will explore observational drawing, as well as creating imagery from your imagination which will help you foster your own visual language. Students with a digital background will be offered one on one training in the principles of good graphic design. Digital training will be conducted on your computer at your site or over Skype, the training platform will be Mac computer within the Adobe Creative Suite of programs with special training directed in Photoshop.

Drawing, sketching, and having the ability to materialize the images of one’s mind on paper are skills that will open many doors of success in your life. Currently a working Artist, Designer, Illustrator and Art Educator living in New York City for almost 20 years. I received a BFA in studio art from the University of Rhode Island and studied for a MFA in Visual Design at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. In the academic setting I was a instructor of illustration and drawing classes at the Butera School of Art in Boston, MA.
